As a result of the recent Ministry of Education announcement, summer school courses will be offered through eLearning only. We will be contacting students currently registered in Face to Face classes affected by this change.

Summer School Online Registration May 6, 2020

Due to the recent Summer School program directives announced by the Ministry of Education, St. Charles summer school flyer is currently under revision.

Wednesday, May 6, 2020 online: registration open through myPath for HWCDSB students; the portal will open for non-HWCDSB students on May 25th, 2020.

Secondary students from HWCDSB, online registration open Wednesday, May 6, 2020 through http://mypath.pathtosuccess.ca (please see flyer attached below.)

Please note: Summer school registration is open for students currently in Grades 9 to 12 only. Students currently in grade 8 are ineligible for registration.

NOTE: non-HWCDSB secondary students, online registration open Monday, May 25, 2020. Please see non-HWCDSB instructions below.

June 12 will be the last date for registration.

PLEASE NOTE: Students, applying for summer school, in the case that the face-to-face classes are not permitted due to a provincial ministry and/or board directive. Classes will then move to an e-learning format.

Summer School Independent Learning (ILC)

Summer School ILC is no longer offered through booklets. All students are directed to E-Learning registration.

Who May Apply

Available to all Secondary School students.
Students must obtain written permission from his/her day school Principal or designate.

ATTENDANCE
Prompt, daily attendance is expected. Students who incur more than 3 absences in a course, or 1.5 days for a half credit or transfer course, may be withdrawn.

DRESS CODE
Clothing suitable for a school setting (at the discretion of the Principal).

Note: due to the current environment, we ask parents/guardians to send an email message to info@stcharles.ca and provide your permission for your child to attend, please include your child’s name, current home school and course selected for summer school. If face to face classes run a hard copy of this form must be completed and submitted the first day of class or the orientation session.

Fees

Free for Ontario secondary school students

Foreign VISA students: Full credit - $1366.00; Half-credit $683.00 (cash or certified cheque only), payable in full at registration. Refunds only if we cancel the class.
