PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE ARE THE OFFICE HOURS AND NOT THE HOURS FOR THE PROGRAM ITSELF. Please see schedule section below for information on program hours.

SUMMER HOURS: Monday to Friday: All locations and offices - 8:30 am – 3:00 pm

SUMMER SHUTDOWN: All St. Charles centres will be closed August 6-17. Once they open, you may register for programs in September. There will be no classes until September 4, 2018.

Monday to Friday: All locations and offices - 8:30 am – 4:00 pm

Evening Hours

Mountain Campus (150 East 5th St.): Tuesday, Thursday nights 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Please note that you cannot sign up for ESL on Monday nights.

Downtown Campus (45 Young St.): Tuesday & Thursday nights 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Stoney Creek Campus (60 Barlake): Monday & Wednesday nights 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Program Description

Adults and Secondary students may enroll in one of our secondary credit language classes and start to learn the language and explore the culture of that community. We offer credit courses in numerous languages from a beginner to an advanced level designed to meet everyone’s learning needs.

These classes are highly interactive and give you many opportunities to develop fluency through conversational skills in everyday situations. Our dynamic teachers design their classes to make the study of language an enjoyable experience.

Monday nights from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. from September 24, 2018 to June 3, 2019
Location: St. Charles East 5th, 150 East 5th Street, Hamilton for all classes except: Ukrainian will be held at the Ukrainian Cultural Centre, 239 Kenilworth Ave. N., Hamilton

How To Register

Adults may register on-line at (after September 4, 2018) or on-site at St. Charles, 150 East 5th Street, Hamilton, on September 17, 2018 from 6:00 - 8:00 (please refer to the flyer for more information).

Current Secondary School students can register online or onsite, but also need a signed permission form from your day school.

Classes are subject to sufficient enrolment and staffing (minimum of 15 students per class).
